Fino Malta

Established in 1935, C. Fino + Sons Limited is certainly one of the oldest and most reputable furniture houses in Malta having no less than 3000 square metres of display area. Representing some of the finest furniture and home furnishing brands in Europe, Fino Malta are able to furnish all types of rooms from kitchens to bedrooms, living rooms, dining suites and even offices.

Fino.com.mt is a corporate website project done while working at Zheta International. Fino is one of the largest furniture suppliers in Malta. The main goal was to help Fino to stand out from the competition and convert visitor into a buyer. We worked closely with the Finomanagement and marketing teams to develop user profiles, journeys and stories, then applied these to a new navigation structure and information architecture.

Main goal of the website is simplicity and ease of use, so the users can browse categories quickly, enter their searches with as fewer clicks as possible to get their desired items fast. It should also contain a dedicated page for every item they offer, so users can browse and learn more about the product before purchasing.

Fino’s traffic is strongly swayed to mobile devices. The styling is clean and crisp allowing the furniture to stand out and be loved. We researched fashion websites heavily and pulled through characteristics to give a familiar environment to the customer.

Human focussed UX and space to display the beautifully designed products equals delighted users, better conversions and higher revenues.

Fino.com.mt users were allowed to create accounts via email or facebook. This was another delightful feature with a goal to engage users to plan their purchases better.

Pinning System

After initial Sign up users are able to modify their account and create pinterest style boards with fino items. This was offered as a unique feature which helped find to stand out more from their competitors. This way families can collaborate with each other and pin items for their home. Users were able to get notified if the product has a discount or is on sale at that moment. Moreover, fino could track what users are pinning and offer some value deals to their customers.
